If you go on Instagram these days there is no shortage of Instagram marketing gurus posting how bad their life has been. The struggles they’ve endured, the embarrassment of not being wealthy. Somehow they’ve turned it all around and it was so easy now they want to share their secrets with you. Sounds too good to be true? Because it is.
You know the posts or reels I’m talking about. They’re in fancy places pointing to all the monthly income totals they get and then they hit you with the, “Want to learn how I did it? Come join my webinar to find out.”
And there it is. The all to familiar join my webinar routine. People go to these thinking that they’re going to learn something beneficial in the hour the webinar takes, but the only thing beneficial to anyone is your money you’re about to hand over to these Instagram marketing gurus.
Those “webinars” are nothing but a marketing ploy to get you to hand over obscene amounts of money thinking you’re going to be pulling in $20k a month after taking their super secret courses. The courses where they teach you their tricks to make money. The only trick they’re showing is that they took your money and left you looking like a fool.
I get it. Everyone is looking to get rich fast these days. With these outrageous housing and food prices everyone is looking to add more money to their accounts just trying to survive. That is what these predators are looking for in their next victims. Desperation. Willing to do or pay whatever it costs to get more money.
The majority of people on social media are pretenders. Pretending to be great. Pretending to be wealthy. It’s all for show; a facade.
Ever notice that all these gurus have all this money to show, but are never seen buying anything. They may video themselves in stores, but they’re not buying anything. That fancy car they’re standing next to; when have you ever seen them drive it? Or that big house, when have you ever seen the house look like it’s been lived in?
You can rent fancy cars for the day to make it appear you own it. You can be a real estate agent or have a friend that is and film in a house that is for sale pretending you own it.
Have you ever seen an unattractive or obese Instagram marketing guru before? They have to exist right or are they elusive like Bigfoot? It’s always the pretty people showing you how to be just like them. People want to be and feel attractive and naturally if an attractive person is saying you can be like them, people will naturally want to try.
It’s all a scam to get you to hand over what is left of your money. Those money totals they show in the reels or posts are the number of people paying hundreds of dollars for their scams.
There are no get rich schemes that work. Well unless you win the lottery or have a rich relative die and leave you their fortune. There are people who hustle and make a lot of money, but do you think they want to share their wealth secrets with you? Why would they give up the chance to make even more money by allowing you to get a piece of the pie?
So next time something or someone sounds too good to be true on social media, it probably is. And if they want you to join their webinar so they can show you their secrets, run!!!!!
